Makeitalia Inaugurates New Corporate Headquarters in Modena
Yesterday, July 14, 2022, Makeitalia inaugurated its new headquarters in Modena.
The Event
A ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by all employees, clients, suppliers, press, and institutions: specifically, the President of the Emilia-Romagna Region, Stefano Bonaccini, and the Mayor of Modena, Gian Carlo Muzzarelli.
A particularly important moment for Makeitalia, a leader for over 14 years in Supply Chain Management, understood as the management and optimization of the supply chain. A crucial activity for every manufacturing company, covering the areas of Purchasing, Planning, Logistics, Quality, and for which Makeitalia has become a benchmark in the national market and beyond.
Today, more than ever, the Supply Chain is a crucial aspect for companies. It’s a highly relevant topic in a context shaken by various tensions, starting with the pandemic and the war.
Makeitalia has made Supply Chain its core business since its founding in 2008.
The New Corporate Headquarters
The inauguration concerned the new corporate premises located at Via Jan Palach, 55 in Modena. A modern facility of almost 3,000 sq m, with cutting-edge environmental, energy consumption, and comfort features. All of this underscores the company’s significant growth: from an office of just 3 people at its founding to over 110 people in 2022. A significant transitional moment, which also marks Makeitalia’s strong desire to be increasingly rooted in the Modena area.
The new headquarters offers both offices and production spaces, to best deliver all the services Makeitalia is capable of providing: a new logistics area that further strengthens the commitment to offer clients concrete solutions and the opportunity to support them not only in managing the entire Supply Chain or part of it from a process, method, and competence perspective, but also in terms of physical flows and components.
Not only that. The company’s new Training Center, the Supply Chain Academy, was also inaugurated, created to offer companies training courses always within the Supply Chain field.
A new, larger headquarters and offices will also enable the significant growth plan envisioned for the next three years: a team aiming to double its headcount to 200 people by the end of 2024.
Special thanks go to all the people who contributed to this important achievement for Makeitalia and to everyone present at yesterday evening’s event!
