      drawing.

      OBJECTIVES

      The course aims to illustrate to non technical personnel (for example buyers) the elements needed to read, interpret and understand a technical drawing. It also integrates some high level considerations about the possible manufacturing processes needed to produce the piece represented.

          • Why it is important to know how to read a technical drawing
        • The elements of the technical drawing
          • The structure of the drawing, title block and related information, overall and details, axes and views,
            dimensions, technical indications (e.g. tolerances, roughness, welds, etc.)
