Makeitalia sponsors the project called I to Eye

“I to Eye” is an initiative by Davide Valacchi, blind and recent graduate in Psychology at the University of Bologna, who is working to raise funds for the sustainable mobility project he wishes to undertake with the aim of communicating a message of integration.

The project will involve Davide and two other boys traveling the Rome – Beijing route in tandem: 15,000 kilometers which will have as a common denominator the promotion of bicycle culture and the possibility to practice a sport like cycling for blind people.

The bike, compared to other types of transport, is a means that implies fatigue and an idea of tactile, emotional and sensorial travel, especially if used by a blind person.

Makeitalia has decided to support this initiative with a financial contribution, supporting Davide’s enterprise and the entire organization.
