Makeitalia at Sapienza University of Rome

On Friday, 26th of November 2021, the Supply Chain Challenge – Italian League 21-22 began, the Italian Supply Chain Championship reserved for students of the Master’s Degree Programs in Management Engineering.

The first stage of the event was held at the Sapienza University of Rome, involving the students of the Industrial Plant Management Course of Professor Francesco Costantino.

During the challenge the students played the Makeitalia Supply Chain Game, simulating the management of an international supply chain.

A game truly capable of showing the complexity of the choices to be faced in supply chain management. Thanks to Makeitalia. I hope colleagues from other universities will also participate!”, Commented Francesco Costantino.

It was a first approach to what may be the real problems and realities that a Supply Chain Manager has to solve every day”, added Riccardo Olivieri, one of the students involved in the qualification phase on November 26th.

The match decreed the winners who will compete, in a final phase, with the winning teams of other Italian universities involved in the Championship!

Special thanks to the students who participated in the challenge and to Professor Francesco Costantino.
