OBJECTIVES

The course aims to illustrate to non technical personnel (for example buyers) the elements needed to read, interpret and understand a technical drawing. It also integrates some high level considerations about the possible manufacturing processes needed to produce the piece represented.

    • The main production processes, factors of interest on the design, associate the main production processes with the characteristics of the component, high level production cycle4. IT tools for analyzing the production cycle of a component
