SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER

With a view to new additions to the Makeitalia team, we are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to manage suppliers and contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Main Activities

• Coordinate suppliers, verifying compliance with quality standards through periodic audits;
• Track, qualify or disqualify suppliers based on adherence to company standards;
• Report supplier performance and quality to management;
• Maintain successful relationships with other departments involved in the supply chain;
• Identify and propose process improvements, collaborating with the project team;
• Assist in the development and implementation of supplier management programmes.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Management Engineering or equivalent;
• Excellent computer skills, especially Excel;
• Excellent knowledge of the English language;
• Knowledge of SAP preferred;
• Analytical and problem solving skills;
• Excellent coordination and communication skills;
• Availability for travel within Italy and occasionally abroad;
• B driving licence.
