Makeitalia is a young and dynamic Italian company whose core business is Supply Chain and, in particular, the optimisation of its customers’ supply chain, from an economic, logistical and production perspective.

With a view to new additions to the Makeitalia team, we are looking for an Expediter: a connection between the company and the supplier, who will control and optimise the supply process, and manage any problems relating to orders.

Main Activities

• Contacting suppliers to ensure that all orders have been received and that deliveries start on time;
• Maintain constant contact with suppliers and shipping companies during the delivery route;
• Constantly solicit the supplier, requesting up-to-date feedback on delivery dates;
• Handle any delays in a timely manner with the project manager;
• Optimise the process in order to minimise delay times;
• Produce reports and monitor KPIs.

Requirements

•  Master’s degree in Management Engineering or equivalent;
• Excellent computer skills, especially Excel;
• Excellent knowledge of the English language;
• Knowledge of SAP preferred;
• Ability to analyse and problem solve;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Availability for travel within Italy and occasionally abroad;
• B driving licence.
