Makeitalia at the Polytechnic of Milan

The Makeitalia event, Supply Chain Challenge – Italian League 21-22, made a stop at the Polytechnic of Milan on Thursday 7 April, involving the students of the Supplier Relationship Management course by Professor Antonella Moretto.

The Supply Chain Challenge is the first Italian Supply Chain Championship, conceived by Makeitalia and reserved for students of the Master’s Degree Courses in Management Engineering.

Francesca Gabelli, student involved in the qualification phase of April 7, commented “The game is very challenging, because not only you need to face some issues that are true also in the real work, but you have to compare yourself with your other classmates and so you can see how your performance and your choices work with respect to the other teams “.

Special thanks to the students who participated in the challenge and to Professor Antonella Moretto.

The team of the Polytechnic of Milan who won the first place will compete with the winning teams of other Italian Universities involved in the Championship during the Finals 21-22 of September!

Makeitalia at the Polytechnic of Turin

On Wednesday 6 April 2022, the fourth stage of the Makeitalia Supply Chain Challenge – Italian League 21-22 took place, the Italian Supply Chain Championship dedicated to the students of the Master’s Degree Programs in Management Engineering.

The event made a stop at the Polytechnic of Turin, involving the students of the Supply Chain Management Course, taught by Professor Carlo Rafele.

“I found the game very interesting, especially because I have been able to apply the theoretical logics studied and understand that not everything is taken for granted, as there is no single strategy, which must be instead reformulated on the basis of the trends and your own management“, added Stefano Neirotti, one of the students involved in the qualification phase on April 6th.

The match proclaimed the winners of the Polytechnic of Turin. The team who won the first place will compete, in a final phase, with the winning teams of other Italian Universities involved in the Championship!

Makeitalia Supply Chain Challenge: the qualification period starts again

The qualification period of the Makeitalia Supply Chain Challenge – Italian League 21-22 is going to start again!

The Supply Chain Challenge is an event coming from an idea of ​​Makeitalia.

It is the first national championship in the Supply Chain area, which involves the major Italian Universities, in particular the Master’s Degree Programs in Management Engineering. It is held during the entire current academic year.

The event aims to bring out the best talents, those who will deal with Supply Chain one day, through an innovative Challenge.

The first qualification period was held between November and December 2021 and involved the following Universities:

  • La Sapienza – University of Rome;
  • University of Calabria – Cosenza;
  • University of Bergamo (course 1).

The second qualification period, scheduled from April to May 2022, instead, will involve the following Universities:

  • Polytechnic of Milan;
  • Polytechnic of Turin;
  • University of Parma;
  • University of Trento;
  • University of Naples Parthenope;
  • University of Siena;
  • University of Bergamo (course 2).
